Hello!
I'm a 25 y/o male from the Midwest. I've been interested in Buddhism for quite a few years now. Originally started studying with Pure Land, but I've also recently begun studying Tibetan Buddhism, specifically the Gelug school. Still not sure where exactly I'll end up.
My goals right now are to begin studying seriously and take up a daily practice. I've gone to one online sangha for a couple months but I'm not sure if it's the best fit for me, so I will probably continue looking for a "dharma home."
I was directed to this site from Reddit. I've lurked here before but I think I need the help of peers and figured I might as well begin posting here.
hello :)

Re: hello :)
Oh, jeeze! I've been found out xD
I take it you are active on the Pure Land subreddit?
I feel that Pure Land was my first "Buddhist home" but I am really quite drawn to Gelug as of late. I am hoping somewhere along the line I will be able to conflate my interest in either tradition and start an Amitabha practice, in whichever form it may take.

Yep, I have the same user name there
