Sorry for reviving an old thread.
A loved one of mine was recently diagnosed with cancer. This is her third time in her life having to go through a major surgery. I started chanting 7 malas of Namo Amitabha's name daily and got invested in practices that may alleviate her condition. This is how I managed to find this old thread.
If I am allowed to share, this is the mantra:
Da Zhi Ta Zhan Mi, Zhan Mi She Zhan Mi, She Mo Ni She Zhan Ni, Sha He.
I first heard of this mantra (chinese version) from a Taiwanese Monk who has an official television channel in Taiwan.:

I went to do a more thorough search online and found this:

Hope this information will find its way to people who are looking for it.
Namo Amitabha Buddha
Mantra for the support of sick persons, split from "Hemorrhoid" Sutra
Discuss and learn about the traditional Mahayana scriptures, without assuming that any one school ‘owns’ the only correct interpretation.
