Looking for resources on Kiyozawa Manshi's thoughts on Epictetus

Post by ZhengShen »

Greetings:

This is a bit obscure, and more than a bit academic. But I know that Kiyozawa Manshi was very strongly influenced by the Stoic philosopher Epictetus. I have high regard for Epictetus myself - but I have some challenges reconciling his world view with Buddhism - and would be very interested in finding anything in which Kiyozawa discussing Epictetus, the Stoics, and how they influenced his thinking on Other-Power. If you can point me to any resources in English, I'd be most grateful.

Thanks!
