is not meditation.not for politics, religion, dishonesty, lies, cheat. No student no teacher relationship illness. Chan is the stick that beats you very hard it hurts but you will drop all of that luggage. If you find that irritating then your only concern is dreaming and you have been fed demon’s shittt. Only the honest truth that makes you cry. But if you keep protecting your lies, you can’t enter house of Buddha. You can come to see a real Master so he take away your mind. He don’t do it for money and don’t bother to give him anything. His only concern is to take your mind away. Only foxes take your money. The monkeys and demons cannot take the stick of Chan. The stick of Chan is the real Chan Master and real bitter medicine. The real Chan master is like a Lion. So if you hold false views of the foxes and demons, you will shy away and cannot handle the stick. You can hold no tricks in front of a real Chan master. If you choose to walk on your own , you can walk on your own until you lose your mind and if you are honest you know when you have lost your mind: if you have to ask other people, then you know you are still dreaming. It is never the case that you woke from sleep, and you have to ask your mom if you woke up. If Chan is for the sincere and honest and if you are stupid it might take a lifetime time to know what that means. Can you find meditation in any of this? No because there isn’t any.
Morning Sermon.
Chan is
Re: Chan is
Even if that toy plastic stick of Chan was made of the iron of Acala's sword it wouldn't amount to more than flowery words.
1 Myriad dharmas are only mind.
Mind is unobtainable.
What is there to seek?
2 If the Buddha-Nature is seen,
there will be no seeing of a nature in any thing.
3 Neither cultivation nor seated meditation —
this is the pure Chan of Tathagata.
4 With sudden enlightenment to Tathagata Chan,
the six paramitas and myriad means
are complete within that essence.

It's just a bush blown by the wind. Who are you looking for?

Re: Chan is
I'm fairly sure that Chan is just the Chinese version of the word Dhyana, and that it does mean meditation. And when it went to Japan the word changed to Zen. And there is a term for starting a thread to talk about it without having anything useful to say.
