As my older Dharma brother, he is not deluded. He is however ambitious.

We are not having an ongoing thread that is just talking about how dumb a Dharma teachers political views are, it’s one slight step up from gossiping. If people have something substantial to say go ahead and put it out here, this is gonna be a limited-time thing.

Alternatively, it would probably go in a better direction if people actually wanted to discuss the specific arguments that DJKR makes.

:good:

I'd just add that there are waaay worse teachers out there and even then we do not just bad mouth them. Is he controversial? Yes. Should he review some of his stances yes. However, he is still worth respect just based on what he does for dharma. Be it 84000, Ngondrogar, SiddhartasIntent, etc. He is behind so many great projects. Ofc he is not the worker bee that does everything and it is mostly operated by his students. However, he is giving them his approval at the very least and that helps tremendously.

I for one respect him and find this to be in sort of bad taste.

There might be worse teachers and opinions out there, but it is his stance of a shitposting political provocateur that seems irreconcilable with being a dharma teacher.

That’s an interesting opinion.
Why do you see this as irreconcilable?

And shitposting about some teachers political views (which you deem "wrong") seems irreconcilable with being a dharma student.
