If they could somehow adapt that into a dating reality show, it would be the perfect british television product
It also needs a craft-contest component:)

But nevertheless how much work she put into her passion of singing, she was never able to be in good pitch.
And nobody dared to tell her.

She sang out of tune the whole long movie. At the end, they brutally played her own voice to her - a gramophone was a new technology that year. And she died of a shock.

I know, when you're singing flat, you cannot hear it yourself. The brain and the perception mixes the tones perfectly in tune. The only chance to control it by oneself is to record and listen.

Well - I'm just telling this to get it off my chest. I feel a little traumatized from this voice and story.
Florence Foster Jenkins.
It’s a true story.
She lived in New York City.
I had a music teacher in school who used to play an LP of her recorded singing.
No, the shocking fact was: it was a similar true story. Marguerite Dumont. A duchesse. Her concert and breakdown was in the 1920th.
This happened twice,seemingly.

I suggest shutting down the tv set and continuing or maybe living free of Tv tomorrow. What do you say?
I just decided to stop watching a certain German daily soap. These artificial problems they are creating every day seem to be harmless, but I think the quantity of idiotic stories makes the series toxic for the unconscious mind.

You do think right.
I'll make my decision today if I am able to withstand my client's habits or if I quit servicing one deranged woman.
Thank you!

Via the connection in Brazil, I get to read, not watch that Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and his wife Rosangela is more vocal in the election night in São Paulo than Bolsanaro who is quiet for now.

I haven't seen it yet but the book (by William Gibson) was great.
A depressing view of the future, but still a great book.

Australian Open tennis men's event.

I just saw the highlights this morning. The live event was from 12:30 am to 3:30 am in my time zone.

https://apnews.com/article/rafael-nadal ... f952576fe6

Novak Djokovic wins his 22nd Grand Slam title (men's singles), tying Nadal for the most all-time.

Nadal also has an Olympic gold medal (Novak has a bronze), so arguably Nadal is still the GOAT, so far. However, Novak was banned from about 2 or 3 grand slam events in the past few years due to being unvaccinated so I suppose it will remain debatable about who is the GOAT in men's tennis until one of them takes a clear lead.
