What are you watching? Any good?
How about an ongoing thread to talk about what shows we're watching...
Watching a few shows - WeCrashed. Jared Leto is a great actor - to the point you don't even see him, just the character. A good hate watch because the main characters are loathesome.
Trying to make time to binge Better Call Saul in time for the series finale coming up.
Most enjoyable, though, is My Brilliant Friend. Characters are amazing.
I really enjoyed the first season of Frayed, but the second season has not hooked me.
Finished Ted Lasso a little while back. That show is like a good merlot. There's no excitement, no challenge, and it just feels good going down.

Re: What are you watching? Any good?
I am watching the Eurovision Song Contest and I'm just blown away by the performance of Australia, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Ukraine, Germany, Aserbaijan, Moldova, Sweden... and the British man right now is not bad as well.
Is it me or is it them? I never saw such a high quality ESC ever.
Can't vote.
Edit: Poland man sings incredible as well.

As for Ted Lasso, it’s like ice cream and a Billy Joel concert, never disappoints. Speaking of, I have tickets to see Billy Joel in Madison Square Garden in July. I’m not even a fan, but hey, when in Rome!
Re: What are you watching? Any good?
I would love to be able to watch it from here in the US. All we got here is a comedy by Will Farrell about the Eurovision song contest.Ayu wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 9:59 pm I am watching the Eurovision Song Contest and I'm just blown away by the performance of Australia, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Ukraine, Germany, Aserbaijan, Moldova, Sweden... and the British man right now is not bad as well.

Watching Tehran on Apple. Good so far.
Re: What are you watching? Any good?
Because I couldn't decide. I had 11 favorites.
But no vote is no solution.
Now I just voted kind of unfairly for four countries. Those I didn't vote for were amazing as well.
I voted for Ukraine, Belgium, Switzerland and Poland.
Re: What are you watching? Any good?
That’s a good reason, too hard to decide. Well, I hope that I can see some of the performances, there’s probably a way.

In the morning "Remembering the teacher" with Garchen R.
And I have no link to the Eurovision 2022 Contest. They were counting points.

"We Own This City," a new miniseries about corrupt cops in Baltimore, produced by David Simon. It's very good so far.

Everything will be well documented on YouTube. Just search for ESC 2022.KristenM wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 11:34 pmThat’s a good reason, too hard to decide. Well, I hope that I can see some of the performances, there’s probably a way.
Ukraine won with a very sad song. Then:
2nd UK
3 Spain
4 Sweden
5 Serbia (strange song leaning on Marina Abramovic's performance style.)
9 Portugal
12 Poland
Belgium only 17th.

Re: What are you watching? Any good?
Watched the ACC Softball Tournament--home girls won. Look forward to the NCAA's and eventually the World Series.
Also rooting for the Miami Heat as they move on to the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

Finishing up Winning Time. John C. Reilly is entertaining. He's kind of playing his character from Talladega Nights as Jerry Buss. I'm entertained. Can see why all the real people this is about would be pissed. Its a live action cartoon.

Gary Oldman looks entertaining in the trailer. How's the rest of it?
