Hello!
I'm an American Buddhist currently living in Europe - I'm a bit of a digital nomad. I took refuge around 6 and a half years ago after quite a long spiritual journey. My practice is mainly in the Chinese tradition; there's some variation, of course, but my favorite and main practice is the Da Bei Zhou / Great Compassion Mantra - I've loved that practice since I first encountered it many years ago, and it's becoming more and more my focus.
I'm looking forward to learning here!

Be very welcome!
Looking but not seeing - that's my eye.
Thinking but not minding - that's my mind.
Speaking but not expressing - that's my tongue.
Traveling but not going - that's my path.

Welcome! How exciting, which part of Europe are you currently in?
“Observing samaya involves to remain inseparable from the union of wisdom and compassion at all times, to sustain mindfulness, and to put into practice the guru’s instructions”. Garchen Rinpoche
For those who do virtuous actions,
goodness is what comes to pass.
For those who do non-virtuous actions,
that becomes suffering indeed.

I'm currently in Serbia, but I'll probably moving end of the year. I haven't determined my next destination - though somewhere with a Chinese Buddhist temple / sangha would certainly be nice. But that's pretty hard to find...Könchok Thrinley wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 6:29 pm Welcome! How exciting, which part of Europe are you currently in?
