This is an interesting interview with Bernardo Kastrup. Too bad he isn't more familiar with Dzogchen, which might influence his work more. Namkhai Norbu used to state that "Dzogchen teachings are important for all people", and such.

An interesting interview with Bernardo Kastrup
Re: An interesting interview with Bernardo Kastrup
This is an almost 5 hour video where he seemingly talks about anything and everything. What is the Dzogchen part here?
Re: An interesting interview with Bernardo Kastrup
He is not a practitioner. His metaphysical assumption is that there is some non-personal consciousness which is primitive and that sentient beings are dissociated from it, and that matter arises from consciousness.
He is a big intellectual voice and also has a presence in the physics community, particularly within the foundations of physics. If these people are having foundational conversations about consciousness they should be in discussion with Dzogchen, is my real point.
In fact I wouldn't mind seeing a discussion between him and a Dzogchen scholar on a show like Curt Jaimungal's. These types of discussions will be happening more and more in the future between Buddhist and Vedantic scholars and physicists and they can have an influence. We should get ahead of the game and have them have conversations with the right people, instead of the Wallace's and Jax's, and so on.
Namkhai Norbu seemed convinced that Dzogchen was going to benefit all of humanity. Perhaps it can have long-term influence on the foundations of physics which will eventually effect all people.
It would be nice to see these kinds of discussions.
