Every time after I make merit, I always dedicate "May I attain Buddhahood for the happiness of all beings. I know that all beings are my mothers from past lives, therefore I am 'determined' to help them all without exception, even if it is my own enemies."
is it ok if I use word determined?
thank you.

Re: Dedication
Should be wishing sentient beings more than 'happiness', but full buddhahood too.

Re: Dedication
Yes, ice cream can cause happiness. Should be full enlightenment. In laymen's terms my short dedication is, "I dedication this merit so that all sentient beings reach full enlightenment."
Re: Dedication
Eh, I've been trained to recite 'happiness and the causes of happiness' and be free of 'suffering and the causes of suffering'
In this case the wish is for a true, lasting happiness - not the transitory states of satisfaction that are samsara.

Of course kleshas, obscurations are your enemies. No other sentient beings.
