Namkhai arted, Longde and Thögal

As Tantra often involves vows and samaya related to secret practice, this sub-forum has been created where Vajrayana practitioners can pose questions, and any of our members or staff can reply confidentially by PM.

Namkhai arted, Longde and Thögal

Post by climb-up »

In Sky gazing practice and, I believe, in longde practice visions can arise.
The sky can also be the focal point for tögal practice.

I’m curious what is the difference between the former and the latter. I would assume the postures and gazes make it different, but I’m at least some teachings the postures are not important (or, more specifically, only the seven point posture is used).

I hope that question makes sense.
I have received teachings, I’m not asking for any instructions, I’m just trying to understand the differences.
