Re: Words
Just wanted to share two thoughts:
1. Meditation concentrated on breathing is making one, to simply put it, smarter.
2. No stimulus (to some degree) is important, its part of meditation, makes one more aware, alert, calm.
Ty.

Re: Words
This is completely wrong. Ultimate reality (all) is not "fake", except in your own mistaken perception or theory. It is up to the student to experience, and no one elae can 'make it real".master of puppets wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 11:01 am All is fake (unreal). Zen master is there to make it real!

This kind of ignorance and misinformation is potentially harmful to aspiring zen students who may read and believe it. Since zen masters are available online for dokusan, if your language skill is good enough, you can find out yourself how they can be helpful.

Re: Words
Of course one can.
One can fear butterflies, rainbows and rose petals, too, but does that make good use of one's time?

When walking, standing, sitting, lying down, speaking,
being silent, moving, being still.
At all times, in all places, without interruption - what is this?
One mind is infinite kalpas.

What does it mean? I certainly didn't know about how meditation is useful when being a kid. If one knew, one would do what one knew (?)...

I think you don't have to look from bodhidharma's perspective. if you have one, you will certainly understand it.Jokingfish wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 7:35 pm All know the way; few actually walk it.

Yes, it would be wonderful to hear “master of puppets” speaking clearly and fluently, without language barrier.
