Because the feminine aspect is the manifestation of wisdom.

Chod is basically Prajnaparamita practice.

In Machik's chod lineage it is also because the yidam is Machik Labdron, who happens to be a woman.

Thanks.
Prajnaparamita is beautiful in her personalized form.
Is this means that the chöd practice is more suitable for female practicioners?
Or for male practicioners? Because working with a female yidam is an easier approach to cutting of clinging to the male habituated body-mind?

Not at all. It is suitable for anyone who needs to cut through ego and clinging.

Fascinating. So, then who is the consort of Troma Nagmo, Simhamukha, Vajrayogini respectively? Is this means that some chöd rituals contains consort practice?

AFAIK the majority of the yidam practices transmitted by Machig and Padampa were wrathful female deities. This should be no surprise as deities like VY were the main charnel ground practices prior to the existence of Chod.

Troma's consort is Hayagriva.

Sorry, IDK. Sounds good.

Please start a new topic, because this one is older than one year. We had confusions in the past when someone used to necro discussion topics and people started to discuss with inactive members.

BTW, usually soon nobody sees your initial necroing question anymore after some following posts.
