Ok gotta admit it that’s a quality Buddhist meme.
Meditate upon Bodhicitta when afflicted by disease

Meditate upon Bodhicitta when sad

Meditate upon Bodhicitta when suffering occurs

Meditate upon Bodhicitta when you are scared

An article from today's Guardian on why the dinner party is dying out.

https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyl ... ressing-up

And one of the reader's comments...

What's worse these days, for the host there's the added stress of trying to cater for guests' many and varied dietary requirements and, for example, not being entirely certain of the difference between a vegetarian, a vegan and a venusian.

We recently had a flexitarian acquaintance round for dinner and had to try to second guess what he might like to eat. It wasn't a success.

He hardly touched his food at all, and then after he'd left, to round off a bad day we found the standard lamp wouldn't work. At first we though the bulb had gone, but it turned out he'd eaten the cable.

That's why Las Vegas buffets rule!!

You don't have to worry about anyone's special diet, they have everything; for the carnivore, omnivore, flexitarian, vegetarian, vegan, semi-vegan, pescatarian, etc.

No cooking, no cleaning, everyone just selects what they want, have good conversation and leave the mess behind!

He kissed Chocolate.

I had to practice for this. Chocolate's spot is bigger than Chip's.
I was into visualizations: Chocolate's is bigger, Chip's is smaller.

Then I had a gut feeling: chocolate is bigger, chip is smaller.

I mean yea Steven comes off as douchy no doubt; but I still defend Aikido to this day against MMA fanboys. Of course Aikido is only effective once you pretty much attain mastery of it. Therefore for most people it's going to be pretty useless in a self-defense type of situation.

His movies have cool choreography though.

How Padma Norbu recognized him as a Tulku, I have no idea. Yet I'd lean towards there having to be something to it beyond financial or superficial reasons
