The only thing I know for sure is that I can't verify it, but absence of evidence is not evidence of absence
but I have circumstantial evidence, e.g.
Dzogchen tantras say that these teachings are present in thirteen different solar systems.
For whom?
For other beings, other forms of life may be so different from our form
that even if we were to stand next to one of such forms right now, we might not even realize that the thing next to us is life.

So,planets which we know are exist may be inhabited, and these life forms can influence on our lives
maybe planet itself is a life form so different from our own that we perceive it as dead matter :)

Why, out of the trillions of things in the universe, few balls of stone and gas?
because only these few belong to our solar system, for example :)

I don't doubt that stellar bodies in our solar system or in other solar systems can be or they are conscious beings. In the sutras of the Sarvastivada canon, which have been recently translated into english by Charles D. Patton, the Sun and Moon are described as palaces, that are inhabited by Devas or Celestial beings. It is mentioned somewhere, I can't recall now where (?), that in the course of rebirths you can be reborn as a Moon-god/deva or Sun-god/deva.

There is the Earth Goddess Dridha, also called Vasudhara, who appears (at least) in the Sutra of Golden Light. If we consider Earth as a planet too.

In David Gordon White's book Tantra in Practice there is an interesting translation of a sutra that is included in the Chinese Tripitaka:
"The Scripture Containing the Buddha's Discourse on Prolonging Life through Worship of the Seven Stars of the Northern Dipper".
svaha
"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
Sarvē mānavāḥ svatantrāḥ samutpannāḥ vartantē api ca, gauravadr̥śā adhikāradr̥śā ca samānāḥ ēva vartantē. Ētē sarvē cētanā-tarka-śaktibhyāṁ susampannāḥ santi. Api ca, sarvē’pi bandhutva-bhāvanayā parasparaṁ vyavaharantu."

Jyotisha contains interesting information about planetary deities
or what kind of beings these planets are

Śani (शनि) Saturn
Śukra (शुक्र) Venus
Bryhaspati (बृहस्पति) Jupiter
Budha (बुध) :buddha1: ? Mercury
Mangala (मंगल) Mars
Ćandra (चंद्र) Moon
Surja (सूर्य) Sun

how they can influence on us if they are conscious, intelligent beings?
Maybe through the minerals, crystals and stones on Earth?
Maybe that's why astrology matches specific gems to a specific planet?

I don't think they need jewels to have an effect on human beings living on Earth.
You can look at the sunset or at the full moon or half moon etc.., or at the planets and stars. And you can meditate on them. In this way You will certainly get some idea or intuition what they are like and what their effect is.

I'd like to add something about rebirth as Sun-god, Moon-god, etc. :

The Buddhist Cosmology, Science and Theology in the Images of Motion and Light, by W. Randolph Kloetzli, Motilal Banarsidass, reprint 2007, says on page 29: "The Catur-maharaja-kayikas are the most numerous among the gods and also inhabit the palaces (vimana) of the sun, moon and stars."
Randolph Kloetzli says that the source  for this information is Abhidharma-kosa-bhasyam, tr. La Vallee Poussin, ch.III, p 159.

"Catur-maharaja" are the Four Great Kings, and "kayikas" are those that form their retinues.  Four Great kings are Dhṛtarāṣṭra,Virūḍhaka,Virūpākṣa and Vaiśravaṇa.

In Buddhism Yama, Tushita, Nirmāṇarati, and Paranirmita-vaśavartin devas reside above the Trāyastriṃśa or the Thirty-three devas and Catumaharajikas are below. These are called the six heavens together with Śakro Devānām Indra.

These heavens are all within the Wheel of rebirth or Bhavachakra. For example the Divya-avadana describes how certain beings take rebirth as Sakra Devanam Indra, and as other gods.

Of course they don't need gems
we do need it ;) just like we need a computer to talk to someone on Skype

Anyway, I recently found out that I live in a house with ghosts and spirits
I distinguish these two concepts because only two of these beings are ex-humans
the rest have never been human.

As we can see, life takes many forms, not only human, animal, plant and bacterial

The Puranas mention 400 thousand races of humanoid beings that are supposed to inhabit various planets
and also mention the number of 8 million life forms.

Lama Pema Choephel recently said that Jigme Lingpa wrote a text on gemstones although I don't know if it's available in English, nor do I really know the contents of it.
Unless you have made a clear decision to turn your back on samsara, then however many prayers you recite, however much you meditate, however many years you remain in retreat, it will all be in vain. You may have a long life, but it will be without essence. You may accumulate great wealth, but it will be meaningless. The only thing that is really worth doing is to get steadily closer to enlightenment and further away from samsara. Think about it carefully.
