Any idea what this is?

Pictures of revered teachers, places, rupas, temples, shrine rooms etc. that bring inspiration to our members. Pilgrimage advice etc.

Its a mandala, but looks like something one might wear as a necklace.
There is no suffering to be severed. Ignorance and klesas are indivisible from bodhi. There is no cause of suffering to be abandoned. Since extremes and the false are the Middle and genuine, there is no path to be practiced. Samsara is nirvana. No severance achieved. No suffering nor its cause. No path, no end. There is no transcendent realm; there is only the one true aspect. There is nothing separate from the true aspect.

Looks a bit like Kalachakra to me, there're lots of this kind of pendants, this one looks very nice.

I was in Patan (Nepal) some days ago and bought one to my girlfriend, but thit is more old and more beuatiful.

Sorry it's not visible to everyone.

I regularly browse the Yahoo auctions in Japan for Buddhist art and objects. This caught my eye. A little more poking around reveals other similar objects so I'm guessing they are mass produced somewhere.

Just curious if these have ritual functions or if they're just trinkets.

If one could identify the Buddha in the center, it's probably their mandala. Reminds me of the mandala of Avalokiteshvara, but I cannot identify any of the five Buddhas.

The mudra could be the one for Maitreya? does it makes sense?

Edit: Maybe Vairocana?
