Chöd damaru beater repair

Post by Lingpupa »

The red, yellow and blue "socks" that cover and hold the beaters are worn through and about to fall off. This raises two questions.

Any tips for an easy yet effective repair? I suppose I just have to bite the bullet and darn them.

Is there any tradition behind those three colours, or is it just that someone who makes them like that has cornered the market?

TIA, of course.
All best wishes

Thanks. I don't really know why I didn't try a search. I've fixed them with stitching and glue for the time being.
All best wishes
