It is located in Bamai Village, Baizha Township, Nangqian County, Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Province, which is bordered by Tibet. The temple is set on a cliff at an altitude of 3,700 meters, which can be called the Tibetan Buddhist version of "Hanging Temple". The temple has a history of nearly 1,000 years, and legend has it that the master of lotus peanuts practiced in this town more than 700 years ago. The treasure of the temple is a strange pair of prayer wheels, and it is said that the dowry brought by Princess Wencheng into Tibet to marry Songzan Ganbu. In this long time, the pair of prayer wheels placed in the upper temple of the Ja'er Temple, and the lamas are constantly on duty day and night.
