Tashi delek,
Yes Dzogchen teachings are a good way to train the mind.
In addition:
- But what (is) mind ?
- Is not all mind ?
- Where is illusion and where not ?
- Does it end with the subject or object or both?

Define "sane human being".Namdrol wrote: if you follow a master like ChNN -- you will become a sane human being, even without studying Abhidharma and so on.
Although many individuals in this age appear to be merely indulging their worldly desires, one does not have the capacity to judge them, so it is best to train in pure vision.

By understanding everything you perceive from the perspective of the view, you are freed from the constraints of philosophical beliefs.
By understanding that any and all mental activity is meditation, you are freed from arbitrary divisions between formal sessions and postmeditation activity.

One without obscurations.
It has been the misfortune (not, as these gentlemen think it, the glory) of this age that everything is to be discussed. Edmund Burke, Reflections on the Revolution in France.

What exactly would a beginner be practicing first ?
I consider myself a beginner. I had direct pointing out via webcast. Attended a few other webcasts.
Attended the Lung (VIA WEBCAST) for Malcolms book, BUDDHA IN THIS LIFETIME..
But i don't know what i should be doing as far as practice.
Is it necessary to become a MEMBER of the Dzogchen community ?
THANK YOU

I’ve never heard of a separate “Dzogchen NgonDro”.Tantric or Dzogchen ngondro?
1.The problem isn’t ‘ignorance’. The problem is the mind you have right now. (H.H. Karmapa XVII @NYC 2/4/18)
2. I support Mingyur R and HHDL in their positions against lama abuse.
