I had this double album in 1970's. This track in the memory of Duke Ellington is solemn. According to wikipedia there are three guitarists playing. I can hear only one, I wonder who that is?

"He Loved Him Madly"
Recorded Columbia Studio E, New York City June 19 or 20, 1974

Miles Davis — electric trumpet with wah-wah, organ
Dave Liebman — alto flute
Pete Cosey — electric guitar
Reggie Lucas — electric guitar
Dominique Gaumont — electric guitar
Michael Henderson — bass guitar
Al Foster — drums
James Mtume — percussion
svaha

They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
Sarvē mānavāḥ svatantrāḥ samutpannāḥ vartantē api ca, gauravadr̥śā adhikāradr̥śā ca samānāḥ ēva vartantē. Ētē sarvē cētanā-tarka-śaktibhyāṁ susampannāḥ santi. Api ca, sarvē’pi bandhutva-bhāvanayā parasparaṁ vyavaharantu."

Partial listen, hear two 24:52 - :55 and later. Tones distinct to me. Don't know about a third player. Maybe a later dub in?

Yes, it does sound like another guitar starts playing in the left speaker. We can rule out anykind of overdubbing, I think, that would be some much against honorable jazz improvisation principles.

Peter Losin is your reliable source of info on all things Miles. According to Losin "Cosey does not play on this tune, and Gaumont is the only guitarist audible until the splice at 10:52." See link 1.
