A haiku riff from a koan

Post by dorje.yignyen »

Hi everyone. I hope you enjoy this chain of haiku and find it helpful for you in your practice. Bonus if you recognize the koan that inspired its beginning.

Just one note of Zen.
That is all that is needed.
Hear the silent tone.

Then, go one step more.
It's only an illusion.
So long as we wear,

These bodies of death.
That's all it will ever be.
Don't fight. Don't scream. Don't.

The more that you do,
The tighter Samsara is.
It is all okay.

Never forever.
Take comfort in that at least.
Wishing you the best.

Wherever you are,
However you are. Always.
Try to be a light.

Until the deep end,
Of everything that can be.
You have this. All do.

Together, as one!
Dedicated to you all.
Have a lovely day. :)
