My father had a cardiac arrest today. He fell hard and also broke a cervical vertebra. He is now in the hospital.

I would be grateful for any prayers you would be willing to dedicate to him.

Prayers to White Tara to keep him alive and prevent further damage.

They probably immobilized his neck. You need to remain in contact with the doctors/nurses.
He might be in a lot of pain/shock or not even aware, I have no idea.
Those who change him should respect the doctors' orders on keeping him immobilized.

The fracture in the cervical vertebra luckily turned out not to be as bad as it could have been. My father also did not suffer any brain damage from hitting his head so hard. His heart stopped briefly and then started beating again by itself. He is now in good hands in one of the best hospitals in the country in Amsterdam. He will face a long road to recovery, though, given his age.
