Looking for good English-language books on Hindu Tantra

Post by M.G. »

Hello everyone!

So this is question isn’t about Buddhism, but it is about Tantra, so I’m going to ask it here. If the admins feel it’s inappropriate, I have no problem with them removing it.

I am interested in good English language material about Hindu Tantra. I’m interested in learning how the practices are actually done, and how they compare to the Buddhist Tantric tradition.

I am not interested in actually practicing Hinduism, to be clear. I just want to learn a bit more about the topic.

Thanks in advance! :)

Easy to read: Tantra Illuminated by Chris Wallis

Often recommended: Doctrine of Vibration by Mark S. G. Dyczkowski

Also: Kashmir Shaivism, the Secret Supreme by Lakshmanjoo
