Tergar Online - Ngondro Transmission and Pointing Out Instructions

Post by sicklicchavi »

Hi, I hope that you are all well.

I recently signed up for Tergar's Vajrayana Online subscription, and I have a few questions about the prerequisites needed to be able to take the Dzogchen Immersion course. Does completing their Ngondro course satisfy the prerequisite of having received Ngondro transmission from a qualified lineage holder? How does one satisfy the other prerequisite of having received pointing out instructions? Is that something that needs to be done in person, or can it be done through one of their courses or webinars?

Any other input on experiences you've had with this particular course would be greatly appreciated!

The course just started but so far it’s great.

If you have questions about prerequisites contact

"The essence of meditation practice is to let go of all your expectations about meditation. All the qualities of your natural mind -- peace, openness, relaxation, and clarity -- are present in your mind just as it is. You don't have to do anything different. You don't have to shift or change your awareness. All you have to do while observing your mind is to recognize the qualities it already has."
