When I was 20 I gave my coffee to Buddha: started a practice of early morning meditation, with cup of coffee.

Still doing this over 20 years later, so no, I won't choose sides, I'm calling this the coalescence of two truths.

As a coffee adict I can tell you it is surprisingly easy to stay without coffee. The world does not collapse, if you don't get it.
Life without Buddha is not even possible.

This. I probably offered tons of coffee to the Buddha already.

I was waiting for the diplomat to choose both. I could have made a selection for that. Haha You win this contest!

(I was born in a Jewish family; even kids are allowed to partake for the rituals and almost every ritual includes some wine tasting or drinking).
Kids partake in gentile families also. We just have to wait for the adults to pass out first.

If I'm not mistaken, the wine is diluted?
What would Jesus have? Wine as well?

I know Muhammad is date wine, to be more specific.

Yes, he drank wine. He was a Jew, on his mother's side. The Last Supper was a passover ceremony where devout Jews will drink 4 cups of wine during the service / feast. Depending on one's tolerance level, one can get tipsy by the end of the evening.

That puts a new spin on the event.

"Verily I...say to you...one of you will betray me this night! That's right, one of you right here in this room! But I'm not saying who!" (Sits down grinning as disciples stare at each other in shock, refills his glass.)

In ancient India they drank different kinds of alcoholic drinks, also fruit juices are mentioned in the Vinaya. Coffee and tea were not known until quite recently.
