Slightly different tree. But the general outline largely works.

Tulku Thondup wrote a book that provides short bios for all the Longchen Nyinthig lineage masters from Samanthabadra down to modern masters like the fourth Dodrupchen. You should buy it.

The "who is who" for this thangka is wrong!
The explaination is for an other thangka.
The explaination from Fortyeightvows is the right one for this refuge tree posted by cinnabar!

If you look at what I posted-- I never said the "who is who" of my image applied to the image in the OP, did I?
If you look at what I posted, I even say it was for a slightly different tree, right?
And if you look at what I posted, I say the general outline largely works. Which is true.

Row of protectors, row of deities. Buddhas of the Three Times. Thugje Chenpo & Dechen Gyalmo on either side.
Guru Rinpoche with Sangha of Bodhisattvas and Sangha of Arhats on either side. Lineages masters above.

Yes, I never said otherwise!

And if you look what I posted:
It wasn't meant as an offend, just as a little improvement....

Haha, also the sender determines the message too. You could use less (or not at all) exclamation marks.... I actually wondered why you were so upset about this.

This I do not understand...
is an exclamation mark a sign of being upset?
upset about what??

maybe I don't know the meaning of an exclamation mark in a chat or forum, etc.??

No, not necessarily. But the meaning of an exclamation mark is exactly what it says - indicating an exclamation: a sudden cry or remark expressing surprise, strong emotion, or pain.

:thanks:
good to know.

Years ago using capital letters was just an emphasis for me..... until I was told it means shouting/ranting.
