Tara Mandala offers "Skymind - Machig Labdrön and Open Awareness", a 'Live' Online Program with Pieter Oosthuizen and Lopӧn Charlotte Rotterdam, from October 16 to December 11.
This online program trains “open awareness,” gradually settling the mind into an experience that is like open space. The practices – including awareness training, meditation and integration with the elements - offer a unique approach to the great ancient “nature of mind” meditations, with guidance on application in our modern, everyday lives.
Our learning is supported by the wisdom of Machig Labdrön, the great 11th century Tibetan yogini, as we reflect on “slogans” or pith instructions from Machig’s writings. In the same way that Zen koans stop our minds, these slogans inspire insight and a compassionate view.
This online program includes eight weeks of 1.5 hour live webcast teachings with Pieter and Charlotte, with unlimited access to video and audio recordings of each webcast.
