Lama Karma’s Tara Mandala residency is a precious gift to our sangha. Upon an auspicious meeting with Lama Tsutrim in 2016, she invited him to live and teach in the USA. Don’t miss these upcoming retreats with Lama Karma:

"Venerable retreat master (drubpön) Lama Karma was born in eastern Bhutan and joined the Long-Nying Chöling Monastery at a young age. His root teacher was Lama Naljorpa, the great yogi of mahamudra and Dzogchen, from whom he received numerous vows, empowerments, instructions and oral transmissions, including the Chöd Rinchen Trengwa and the Chöd practice of Laughter of the Dakinis from the Longchen Nyingtik Tradition. A heart student of Terton Pedgyal Lingpa Rinpoche, he served as the scribe for the entirety of Pedgyal Lingpa’s Kusum Gongdü treasure cycle. Drubpön Lama Karma studied with other great teachers, including H.H. Dodrupchen Rinpoche, H.H. Penor Rinpoche, H.H. Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche, H.H Dilgo Kyentse Rinpoche, H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche, and the 16th and 17th Karmapas. He has spent over 16 years in strict meditation retreats. Drubpön is renowned as a genuine retreat master throughout Bhutan and has been one of the most important Bhutanese lamas to disseminate the teachings and maintain the tradition of Terton Pedgyal Lingpa."

Hi Kevin,

You're welcome! I hope we get to see you here at Tara Mandala.
I have a question please, we are looking for a translator for Lama Karma, for some retreats coming up. Do you know the best area to post that on Dharma Wheel?

Thanks!
Regards,
Clinton

Hi everyone, I'm looking to post a job opportunity as Translator for Lama Karma. Please let me know where I can post it on Dharma Wheel. Thanks!
The post will be something like this below:

Seeking TRANSLATOR: Tara Mandala requires an Oral Translator to translate for retreats with Venerable Drubpön Lama Karma. The first of these retreats is “Taming Our Wild Minds: An Introduction to Buddhist Meditation,” held at Tara Mandala during June 2-5.

This retreat will provide powerful methods for stabilizing negative emotions and thought patterns. Through teachings and practice, retreatants will discover techniques that help them reach their highest potential in all aspects of their lives. Lama Karma will teach special meditation practices that come from the ancient traditions of India, Tibet, and Bhutan. He will interlace these teachings with stories and experiences that come from his 16 years in solitary retreat, and years as a primary student of Lama Naljorpa (the great yogi of Mahamudra and Dzogchen), and heart student and scribe of Terton Pedgyal Lingpa Rinpoche.

This is a temporary contractor position. Applicants must include resume, cover letter, and 3 references. To apply, please go to: http://bit.ly/2rRmgB9

Hi Clinton.

I am not sure, maybe in the Dharma Events Forum? https://www.dharmawheel.net/viewforum.php?f=82

I hope to be able to make it this summer. I am getting knee deep in summer courses right now so I may take the time for a personal retreat afterwards, or I just might make it out to Colorado... I will see as the time gets closer.

Thanks Kevin! Best of luck with juggling all your activities, and I'm sure you'll need a retreat after that, in whatever shape or form it may be. :)
