उपशृणोति { उप- श्रु } verb 5 upaśṛṇoti { upa- śru} listen to
गीतं शृणवाम sent. gītaṃ śṛṇavāma Let us listen to the song.

शृणोति { श्रु } verb 5 śṛṇoti { śru} hear
श्रुत्वा gerund śrutvā having heard
उच्छैः indecl. ucchaiḥ which can be heard

श्रुत ppp. śruta heard
श्रुत adj. śruta heard about or of

शृणोमि { श्रु } verb śṛṇomi { śru} I hear
श्रूयते verb śrūyate is heard
