The topicstarter's questions is not about what zen-zanmai is, but is it possible for those who have some achievements in zen-sanmai to fall into the hell afterlife.
The answer, as I can see it, lies in the formula Sila-Samadhi-Prajna - because Prajna is the very Buddhist remedy from bad rebirth. Without Prajna, while only practicing Sila and getting High State Of Mind (Samadhi) sometimes, the practitioner is not yet gained the Way (out of the bad rebirth or hell afterlife).
