Sang practice in Gelug
Sang practice in Gelug
I know that sang practice is not as common in Gelug, but it does exist. Curious if any Gelug practitioners do engage in this as a personal practice.

Sang is quite widely practiced along with sur, maybe less so in Western sanghas.
My centre does sang and sur every week, I try to do it whenever I can

Thank you for your reply.
I guess I am curious about if sang is practiced much as a personal practice. Sur is definitely practiced in this way, but I have not heard much about individuals in Gelug doing sang practice on their own.

I've never known many westerners into the practice of sang, or sur really for that matter.
My teacher told me about monks who do it individually in the monasteries and Lama Zopa Rinpoche does it regularly but sang is a good group puja.
