Hello, first of all, I would like to apologize for my last question here. I realized after posting it that such a thing would be unbeneficial to a dying being even though I did not think about that at the time and I would like to thank the person who pointed that out to me as well.
That being said, I have another question. I remember reading about "OM RUCHIRAM MANI PRAVARTAYA HUM" that when it is recited seven times and you blow on a mala, it multiplies the merits from reciting over 100 billion times. Does this have the same benefits if you do not have a Mala but merely recite this mantra seven times beforehand?

Re: Question on merit multiplication
I believe there is a mantra for merit multiplying? The one mention is more like blessing the mala beads.

Re: Question on merit multiplication
Merit building, merit multiplying, auspicious days, merit…
Keep in mind, these are all only opportunities to increase merit. There are no instant merit shortcuts.
It’s like, a sunny spring day is an auspicious day for working in your garden. But if you just chant “vegetables grow” without planting any seeds, nothing will grow.
Seeds of merit likewise have to be planted and watered.
