Re: Dodrupchen is in Thukdam
Indeed. Did you ever meet him?
Re: Dodrupchen is in Thukdam
What exact physical signs, if any, are manifest/confirmed?
Re: Dodrupchen is in Thukdam
I saw a facebook post saying that reports of his death were misinformation and he was in fact doing just fine. Do you have reliable info that he has passed?

Yes.
It has been confirmed to me by a Tibetan tulku. Also Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal announced it earlier today.

Thank you for clarifying.

I see another post that says
“ Rinpoche is fine right now
It was just that his blood pressure got really low and dr couldn’t find his pulse so everyone thought he went into thugdam but now he is fine.Lets all pray for Rimpochila's speedy recovery .Long live His Holiness kyapjey Dodrupchen Rimpochila.”
It seems a bit odd that his passing isn’t being shared more widely if it’s true.

The post you quote -- and others along the line -- were shared about 4 hours before a new wave of confirmations started. I wish it were not true, of course, but unfortunately it seems it is.Seeker12 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 2:08 amI see another post that says

Thanks. Perhaps he was basically dying/on the verge of death initially but now has transitioned more firmly into thukdam. Anyway, thanks for the clarification. It feels different for me now, and now it actually feels to be true.treehuggingoctopus wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 8:12 am The post you quote -- and others along the line -- were shared about 4 hours before a new wave of confirmations started. Re: Dodrupchen is in Thukdam
It is very common in my experience for a Lama's close disciples to try to keep the news of His or Her entering thug dam secret until the thugdam is completed. I think that is what H.H.'s disciples were trying to do, but somehow the news slipped out and then it was too late.
