Throma Ngondro and Lujin practices

Post by tony_montana »

Hi all, there seems to be some opportunities for transmissions regarding 'Throma Ngondro and Lujin practices' coming up (https://www.odiyanainstitute.org/online-events-2021). While I get that this refers to preliminary practices for Chod, it's not clear to me if it involves an empowerment of Black Vajravarahi (who seems to be depicted in the event-flyer), or only lung for hymns of this practice. I would appreciate any info or clarification - especially with regards to commitments usually accompanying such transmissions.

This looks interesting. I'm not familiar with Tulku Orgyen Phuntsok Rinpoche - who I am assuming will be giving this transmission? Does anyone have any experience receiving teachings from Rinpoche?
