Re: Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche
Thank you so much for sharing, its great and so honest from him to share his thoughts and experiences...There was actually a woman from Germany, a student of Chimed Rigdzin Rinpoche who was about to collect stories about Rinpoche into a kind of biography. She was about to do it many years ago, but perhaps it got stuck somewhere. I had the fortune to follow this great Master in Europe from 98-until his last retreat in Silliguri, India 2001-2, and i have few stories to share too...Of course someone like James Low, Gudrun or his sons Ugyen and Migme, Hilke, Nadia etc or people around Khordong gonpa, yes there are many people who were blessed by the presence of this great Master...

Sweet memories indeed, and the heart connection is still strong.

Today exactly marks the 19th anniversary of his death.
Seems that we have been practising for quite some time already.

It would be nice to gather remembrances from his students all over.

An interesting read. Gets you some feel for Chimmed Rigdzin Rinpoche, includes some funny stuff but also some food for thought on Western Tibetan Buddhism.humble.student wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 1:56 pm Here's a series of reminiscences about this master which I think some of you will enjoy:

Although many individuals in this age appear to be merely indulging their worldly desires, one does not have the capacity to judge them, so it is best to train in pure vision.

It is interesting that like ChNN, Chimed Rigdzin also had some engagement with the Samten Migdrön.
Re: Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche
I met CRR twice and got teachings and empowerment's from him and he is very well described I think. The first time we invited Peter Roberts to teach and CRR was very irritated with him and didn't let him translate anything. Peter Roberts was so cool, didn't get at all annoyed and sat there with a sweet smile for several days.

The final one has a dead link for "next chapter click here", end of the text. it's from 10 days ago I think, so I assumed there will be more.Charlie123 wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 9:37 pmThe series is finished.
