Song of the Vajra in musical notation?
Does anyone have SoV in western musical notation? Wanted to try it out on my native american flute...thought it might sound kinda cool

I put this together years ago. I'm a professional musician, so its accurate: taken from Rinpoche's recordings and with notes from the book about Song of Vajra where he explains what each line is about.

Thoroughly tame your own mind.
This is (possibly) the teaching of Buddha.

Hello 10 years later! I was wondering If you still have this download available? Thank you <3gad rgyangs wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2014 2:07 am I put this together years ago. I’d be interested in seeing it too, but I also wonder if western notation is the best way to write it.
I’ve seen some examples of Tibetan notation and was very impressed with it. It would be really interesting to see the SoV written out in it (I kind of feel like I have, but I’m not sure where).

I have in notes, and in Adriano's annotation for the full Ganapuja on behalf of NN, Umdze training. I can't upload it here though, for some reason, so I can send on email.

For the masminsa ghulitayapa, on the i in li, there should be a note change (or breath) on the last beat, no?
