The explanation mp3 is worth listening to. It is very similar to the explanation in the Guruyoga book, but at least for me listening to Rinpoche had a different effect.

Just DI is certainly enough, otherwise they would not have encouraged everyone to practice Vajrasattva. The same goes for the GY of the White A. And for ganapuja, I would think.

(It might even be possible to practice these practices if one has not received DI from ChNN but would like very much to have received it. It would stand to reason in my book at least.)
