He will also teach on dzogchen in general and there might be some dzogchen teachings connected to the practice, not to mention it is probably practiced from the dzogchen pov.heart wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 10:25 pmWhat makes Tsewang Dzinpa Dzogchen?AJP wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 9:33 pm From the Yangzab

The sadhana is more, or less elaborated Anuyoga.
It's view and origin is Yangzab

The ancient translators - Kawa Paltseg, Vairocana - all concentrated on meaning, on the real sence. Even if the words do not correspond perfectly between Sanskrit & Tibetan, they concentrated more on the essence. Those who translated later concentrated more on the literal text, on the words.

I can't see anything about Dzogchen. I am pretty sure Yangzab isn't only Dzogchen.AJP wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 10:42 pmThe advert stated these teachings come from the Yangzab the Drikung Kagyu Dzogchen Terma.heart wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 10:25 pmWhat makes Tsewang Dzinpa Dzogchen?AJP wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 9:33 pm From the Yangzab

Most (or nearly every?) main Terma-cycle also includes Yidam transformation, Dharmapala sadhanas, etc.

Tsewang dzinpas main sadhana is anuyoga.
There is an unelaborate ati version and an maha ati sadhana.
The 4th empowerment is a rigpai tsal wang.
This is the auspicious verse from the maha ati sadhana:
HUM. Guru luminous’empty, self’aware -enlightened accomplished yidams form vital’energy and manta one - by merit symbolized through contemplating - Atis awareness distinct from mind- obscurations, afflictions, pacified- may beings gain gurus self’awareness.

I only have a 14 pages long version with tsok, etc.

I have one of the short sadhanas but away from dharma materials till dec 18th. I can pass on when I get to those with empowerment. Also if you had the empowerment GBI handed out a one page sadhana during 2017 empowerment. You can probably request from them for quicker resource.

In recent months, GBI has been very good about distributing relevant texts for teachings and empowerments. I expect that they will make something available to those who attend the empowerment stream.

not so easy to get an answer, or even the sadhana.

Recent months, not recent years. They have made texts available for every teaching / empowerment they have held since at least the beginning of the pandemic.lelopa wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 9:00 amI tried to get a sadhana of Raktayamari.... since 2017....Charlie123 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 11:29 pm In recent months, GBI has been very good about distributing relevant texts for teachings and empowerments. Re: Garchen Rinpoche Dzogchen Empowerment
The Raktayamari empowerment was held in Los Angeles by Rinchen Choling. GBI never had the sadhana translated. I worked there at the time. Perhaps reaching out to Rinchen Choling is better for that.
Also I think the Raktayamari was to connect his students with completion stage practices with in the Yamataka cycles that are used in Rinpoches propagation of the jampal shinje drupas. He tied in vajra recitation with winds practice of raktayamari.
