Yakushinyorai Shingon (Bhaisajyaguru Tathagata Mantra)
Yakushinyorai Shingon (Bhaisajyaguru Tathagata Mantra)
Those who, even with distracted minds,
Entered a stupa compound
And chanted but once, “Namo Buddhaya!”
Have certainly attained the path of the buddhas.
-Lotus Sutra, Upaya Chapter
純一実相。実相外。更無別法。法性寂然名止。寂而常渉照名観。
There is only reality; there is nothing separate from reality. The naturally tranquil nature of dharmas is shamatha. The abiding luminosity of tranquility is vipashyana.

Re: Yakushinyorai Shingon (Bhaisajyaguru Tathagata Mantra)
Amazing. What tradition is this from?, and what is the mantra exactly?

Most likely Shingon, however the mantra is
On koro koro sendari matôgi sowaka (Jpn.)
Om huru huru candâli mâtàngi svâhâ (Skt.)

Seishin - I think that's right. Just found the Tendai Bhaisajyaguru mantra, but no videos. Is the Tendai mantra secret?

Candali? Is this Medicine Buddha mantra or something else?

Re: Yakushinyorai Shingon (Bhaisajyaguru Tathagata Mantra)
The Tendai mantra is the same, but most videos tend to be from shingon, lol! You can usually tell from the pronunciation but this is one of those mantras that are pronounced the same in both. Technically speaking, all mantras should be taught to us by our teacher, but this one can be seen all over, ie. Its not hidden.
