Hello,
I am wondering what this Heart Sutra bracelet says on its outside? I inquired over at Dhammawheel and it was said that the inscription says "om mani padme hum". Is this correct? Any other thoughts on the bracelet? Thank you.

You are correct that it says Chenrezig's mantra on the outside.dharmatheway84 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 10:47 pm Hello,

Re: Heart Sutra Bracelet
There are two different Buddhist traditions: Theravada and Mahayana. Some also add a third category: Vajrayana. (It's really a mode or level of practice, but I won't get too much into the issue of classifying Buddhist traditions.) The Heart Sutra is in the Mahayana category. And this forum is dedicated to the Mahayana and Vajrayana (see note up top). So make sure you're asking your questions in the right places.I inquired over at Dhammawheel
