Orgyen Menla

Post by Donny »

I'm curious of the genealogy of the practice and teachings on Orgyen Menla (Guru Rinpoche as Medicine Buddha) and if anyone konws what kind of empowerment is needed for the practice.

There is an Orgyen Menla empowerment in the Dudjom Tersar.

Thanks a lot! That is beautiful :-)

I'm curious who the Boddhisattvas to the left and the right are? The left one - from our perspective - seems to be Manjushri. The one on the right might Vajrapani?

Thanks a lot! This is very interesting. Especially that Orgyen Menla is associated with the outer Guru and the five Elements.
