Looks like setrap to me, worldly stuff.
Re: Need Help To Identify The Guardian Diety
I'm going to have to disagree; this definitely isn't Setrap (not red and the items aren't a match, nor is the animal). My best guess is that this is Lord Vaishravana, Guardian King of the North, or a retinue of his (or the Yellow Dzambhala's).
Re: Need Help To Identify The Guardian Diety
I believe that’s the deity Kangchenjunga, associated with the mountain of the same name. He resembles pictures I’ve seen, and that would match up location wise with Sikkim.

Sometimes Machen Pomra is depicted like this.... sometimes he rides a horse.
Amnye Machen.
Amnye Machen.
The ancient translators - Kawa Paltseg, Vairocana - all concentrated on meaning, on the real sence. Even if the words do not correspond perfectly between Sanskrit & Tibetan, they concentrated more on the essence. Those who translated later concentrated more on the literal text, on the words.

Yes, While searching about the diety I stumbled upon his iconography (deity Kangchenjunga) too.... Matches almost perfectly
But found no other reference. Just One Book of 1895
Ans then searching Kangchenjunga Deity yielded no other results except about that mountain peaks.
I dont know if straight link is allowed on this forum but posting the link here
