Any recommendations for Tibetan Buddhist Centres in Singapore

Post by 2ndchance »

Does anyone have any recommendations for Tibetan Buddhist Centres in Singapore?

I tried to search for the word "singapore" in advanced search but for some reason or another nothing is coming up.

I like to meet up with tibetan buddhists in singapore if that is possible for the purpose of sharing dharma.

You're not behind the Great Firewall of China, by any chance? Because that might explain why you're not getting any results.

Otherwise, try again.

There are a lot of Tibetan Buddhist centres in Singapore. Singapore is not part of China, so the firewall doesn't really matter, unless 2ndchance is posting from China.

If you are on Facebook search for a page called "Singapore Tibetan Buddhism Events".

hey all, i am in singapore right now.

the forum basic search function for the term "singapore" came up with too many search results so i wanted to use the forum advanced search function for the term "singapore" to narrow down the results yet the advanced search function revealed nothing.

very puzzling.

i was empowered by Payul Nyingma HH Penor Rinpoche before the year 2000 with the vajrakilaya transmission.

i was also empowered by Sakya HH Sakya Trizin in the year 2003 in Sydney, Australia in various transmissions.

of all the schools in tibetan buddhism, i am most drawn to Nyingma because it is the oldest of all the 4 major schools of tibetan buddhism and i am also very much attracted to the rainbow body of light enlightenment as taught by the dzogchen schools.

1) may i ask if dzogchen is taught only in the nyingma schools or is dzogchen also taught in the other 3 major schools of tibetan buddhism?

2) also, i have been researching the teachings of yogi-yogini kamamudra in tibetan buddhism and i read somewhere than nyingma and sakya practice kamamudra while gelug practice only a little and sakya practice none at all.

am i correct in my above 2 conclusions? i will appreciate any clarifications here..

thanks..
