Meditation Belt

Any advice on how to make a meditation belt? For practical reasons, not esthethics

I just got some material and sewed it together. Has to be strong stitching. I measured according to ChNN's instructions in his Longde retreat.

I've heard of meditation belts before, but I never thought to get one. What are they used for?
