I'm sure most members of this forum have seen these two images before. They are the most widely distributed images.
They both look like they are photos of statues. I have asked many people if anyone knew where the original statues are and no one knows.
does anyone here on dharmawheel know?

Never seen those particular images before
The antidote—to be free from the suffering of samsara—you need to be free from delusion and karma; you need to be free from ignorance, the root of samsara. So you need to meditate on emptiness. That is what you need. Lama Zopa Rinpoche

I'm surprised..there are often printed for free distribution. Maybe now that you've seen them here you will notice.

You can try an image-reverse-search. The information about who posted the image firstly on the internet might be helpful. Or maybe it even shows a wikipedia article.

I can't help you but the one on the left I've definitely seen, the other I'm not really sure if I've ever seen it before.
