That reminds me of Peter Pan (Walt Disney). We missed to take more audio cassettes with us on a three weeks holiday. We heard Peter Pan (the audio of the movie) all the time in the car and we all could recite it by heart after this vacation.

Adaptation by Charlie Kaufman/Spike Jonz. I’m a big fan of that movie and both those artists.

Waiting for Guffman and basically anything Christopher Guest made. I also love David Lynch’s work. Just to name a few.

I almost always remember virtually everything in a movie so I rarely rewatch movies (certainly not with a 2 month frequency). Having said that:

Island of the Blue Dolphin (as a kid, on Disney)
Scarecrow (same)
2001
Enter the Dragon
Fist of Fury
Dracula (and almost all of the Christopher Lee Dracula movies more than once)
Frankenstein
The Dunwich Horror
The Breakfast Club
Contact
Kundun
First Contact
2010
Goldeneye
Kästner und der kleine Dienstag
Spectre

Quite the stunt back in the day (1963). Four years later got my first motorcycle. Still riding: 2007 BMW R1200R. (Not jumping any fences, though.)

Since “what is your favorite movie” is a common internet security question (and as such, the topic is about two steps away from phishing) I’m not answering specifically although I have a pretty good DVD library of mainly foreign films, 007 movies, and old black & white classics.

If you like the samurai theme, in particular in terms of the Meiji context where the old world is slowly vanishing while being faced with a new unknown approaching, you should try out "Tasogare Seibei" / "The Twilight Samurai", as well as "Mibu Gishiden" / "When the Last Sword Is Drawn".
