Problem with PMs (2)

Post by mutsuk »

[Referring to this older thread: https://dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?p=426216#p426216

My PM inbox and outbox are 100% full. I've tried to delete everything about a dozen times now but I keep having the following message :
The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.
I tried to change the settings, create another folder for moving the old ones and deleting them there, but I keep having the same message inviting me to "submit again"... I cleared coockies, rebooted, etc. nothing works...
Anyone knows the solution?

I went to check on my own PM's now, to see if you perhaps did something wrong or if there is a universal bug, and indeed, DW software is bugged, because I selected two PM's to delete, and I got the exact same error message you got.

DNS,
Perhaps you could look into this?

I have to try and post the same pm several times before it actually gives me the ‘successfully sent’ message. Is this a common occurrence or some setting I’m not aware of.

Since some weeks we have various different 'glitches' or malfunctions. I haven't heard of your described phenomenon before, but it fits to the common picture that things are hooking and not running smoothly.

There is work going on in the background and I hope it will improve gradually. Some things work again, but then other problems appear.

Please let us know, if the problem persists or if it ended.

It seems to be working now. Ghosts in the machine.
I was a network engineer so I know how it is.
Thank you for your help.

I also have a problem with PMs. There's a PM that's been sitting in my outbox for a few weeks. I deleted it and tried to resend a few days ago (copy and paste) but this one is still hanging out in the outbox... What to do?

Pms remain in the outbox until they are opened and read by the recipient.
