Khae chhim??
Khae chhim??
Are any Soen practitioners familiar with this (Korean) term, referring to a meditative practice? I think it means, literally, breaking rigidity, or something similar. Is it based on a Chinese term?

thanks for the reply, but Facebook is the Devil's Instrument par excellence.
Re: Khae chhim??
It's a pure Korean word, meaning awakening, analogous to satori, and Chinese equivalent is probably 悟. It's a realisation, not a practice.

Excellent to know that, thanks! Does the Korean word really mean something like cutting rigidity? Does Wonhyo use the term? If you have sources (especially online) that you could recommend, that would be great.
