greetings! may the world be my sangha

hello everyone! I joined this site to study Mahayana Buddhism and hopefully make friends along the way of deepening my practice. I've finally been making efforts to meditate every day and find time to study the Dhamma. Despite considering myself of the Mahayana vein, my favourite contemporary dhamma teacher is Ajaan Thanissaro and I often find myself listening to various Vipassana talks... yet, I still consider myself on the Mahayana path because animal welfare is extremely important to me and I have yet to find any other path that cares at all... so here is my cheers to all the vegan Buddhists keeping the true dhamma alive :) see you around!
