Re: Regarding Shar Khentrul Rinpoché Jamphel Lodrö (No Debates Please)

If it helps, Khentrul Rinpoché has taught alongside Vesna Wallace, Bob Thurman, Tulku Lobsang, and Katok Rigdzin Chenpo and has been promoted by the International Kalachakra Network (you can look at their leadership team). To the extent you trust these people, they can help you feel some trust in K...

Re: Do Nyingma and Bon Dzogchen share the same origin?

To calculate that all 24 masters lived for 80 years (at that time?) and you come to 1920 years is only possible if the master give his teachings in his year of death to his student in his year of birth. Well i never was good in calculating at school, but 24 times 80 = 1920. Re: Do Nyingma and Bon Dzogchen share the same origin?

Why should Zhangzhung Garab and Garab Dorje be the same person? Only because both share "Garab" in their name and both were Dzogchenpas? Did they live at the same time, same place? Maybe they are the same person, but there is not much evidence afaik. Never heard, or read "Zhangzhung ...

Bush Funk is quite reliable when it comes to that stuff. If everyone in the hood says you are a snitch then you are a snitch. If a Lama does not have support in his own village his own town etc it is usually a big warning sign. Oh yes, it is a warning sign for me. Bu what about the saying "the...

I am not a teacher of course & english is not my first language, so you have to take the following with 21 grains of salt: There are at least 2 different TWR's books which are transcripts from teaching-retreats. I saw a 3rd one in the 90's - but maybe 9only different cover. I didn't read it. JMR...
